I have been an athlete since childhood (taekwondo, swimming, football) and today I train for my first marathon.

Sport shaped the way I breathe, the way I endure, the way I see the world.

When I stand on the sidelines with a camera, I'm not outside the game. I know the silence before the start, the burn in the muscles, the voice inside that says keep going.

Being an athlete behind the lens allows me to stand where they stand to feel the tension, the doubt, the breakthrough.

I don’t photograph performance. I photograph the fight, the faith, and the moment the body becomes will.
